I’m Travis Nelson, currently living in Big Lake, Minnesota, and a certified fitness coach with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. My passion for fitness runs deep because I’ve experienced firsthand what it’s like to neglect your health and the transformative power of reclaiming it.
Growing up, I was always active—I played football and ran track in high school. But like many, I fell into the pitfalls of partying and neglecting my health after those "glory days". My life took a big turn at 28 when I was hit by a car while riding one of my many motorcycles. I shattered my left femur and had to relearn how to walk after having an intramedullary nailing procedure (titanium rod inside of my femur), which became an excuse for years to avoid working out.
But life gave me another wake-up call. A little over a year after having my beautiful daughter, my younger brother was in a tragic mountain climbing accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury. It was a painful, pivotal moment that made me realize I had to change. I needed to change the way I was living my life, not just for myself, but for my family.
I started working out at home and soon rediscovered what my body was capable of. Getting back into the gym changed everything for me. It reignited my drive and helped me realize how much impact I could have on others’ lives by sharing my journey.
Today, I specialize in helping men and women over 30 regain control over their health and fitness, using not only physical training but also nutrition, mindset, and discipline to create lasting change.
My mission is to pay forward what I’ve learned: fitness is about more than just looking good—it’s about transforming your life, regaining confidence, and creating the future you deserve.

We'll track your progress through required weekly assessments, which include tracking your body measurements, weight, and progress photos, along with evaluating your energy levels, performance, and adherence to the program. These assessments allow me to review your progress and identify any setbacks, so I can adjust your plan as needed to keep you moving forward. By regularly reviewing these updates, I can properly guide you throughout the program and ensure we're staying on track to meet your goals.
Absolutely! This is not a quick-fix program. My approach is focused on building sustainable, long-term habits that lead to life-changing results. We'll work on developing healthy routines for both fitness and nutrition that fit into your lifestyle and can be maintained for the long haul. By focusing on gradual, consistent progress rather than short-term gains, you'll not only lose weight but also keep it off by building a foundation of habits that support your overall well-being for life.
Results vary depending on your starting point and level of commitment. Typically, clients begin to notice changes within the first few weeks, such as increased energy, improved strength, and better overall fitness. Most clients see significant fat loss and muscle gain within 90 days with consistent effort and adherence to the program.
Developing discipline is key to long-term success. I provide not only workout and nutrition plans but also mindset coaching to help you stay on track. We'll work on building healthy habits and staying accountable through regular check-ins, goal-setting, and support tailored to your unique challenges and lifestyle.
This is an online-based coaching program, giving you the flexibility to follow it from anywhere. You'll receive complete workout plans tailored to your goals, along with a nutrition plan and detailed guidance to help you fuel your body properly. We'll also focus on mindset development to build discipline and motivation. Weekly check-ins will track your progress and ensure accountability. Everything is designed to fit into your lifestyle while delivering the support you need for long-term success.
